ABOUT ME

Of course the mini is one of my major hobbies, but as you see I also spend a lot of time in the Internet.

Right now I try to learn JavaScript - hard stuff if your last programming experience was assembler several years ago!

Although - If the weather is sunny you'll rather see me on my mountainbike or hanging around in one of cologne's great beergardens! That may be the reason why these pages are updated so rarely!

If you have any comments to these pages - no matter if it's style or contents, please write me a mail: mareng@netcologne.de

Enjoy it! Martin

That's me!

By the way -

I would like to say "Thank You" to some people whose work helped me to design this site:

First of all there is Stefan Münz, a SysOp from the German Internet Forum (GERINT) on CompuServe. He is the author of "Self HTML", one of the best HTML-Authoring guides I know. Currently it's only available in german.

Die Self-HTML findet man unter folgenden Adressen:

In CompuServe steht die jeweils aktuelle Version im Deutschen Internet Forum (GO GERINT), Bibliothek #14 ("HTML") zum Download bereit.

Another great help was the "HTML Reference Library" by Stephen Le Hunte. It's a Windows 95 Help File which allows quick access to the HTML-Tags. A lot of very useful examples are included.

Information about the newest release of the HTML Reference Library could be found at:

You also can contact he author, Steven le Hunt, at: cmlehunt@swan.ac.uk

Tools:

I've used the following tools to design this site:

My HTML-Editor is "HomeSite 1.2". This is the Freeware version of Nick Bradbury's famous HTML-Editor. You can find this shareware at:

All the Animations are made with the "GIF Construction Set " by Alchemy Mindworks. It's also shareware:
